Halo-Orangees: Book Provides On-the-Job Survival Manual, Mindset Enhancer and Stress Reliever for Employers & Employees

Book 222

The message from author B.L. Brown is simple – “Don’t let anyone confine you to a box and disable your growth”.

Memphis, TN – With the modern employer/employee relationship proving hard to juggle at best, author B.L. Brown has stepped in to improve the mind-sets and results for both parties with her new book, Halo-Orangees employer-employee “one accord” Volume I One Mind, One Body, One Team.

The objective of the book is to take the most difficult on-the-job conflicts and use them as a platform to show others that they shouldn’t let anyone disable their growth by ‘confining them to a box’. Having already improved the working lives of thousands of people, Halo-Orangees is proving a vital text for anyone in the work arena.

Official Synopsis: Is your work environment infected with the dysfunctional “I” and ME” Team Virus? “I” and “Me” are the driving forces behind dysfunctional organizational employer-employee relationships.

This book embodies the message that all human beings have a purpose and can rise above any situation or circumstance as long as they remain ethically true to themselves.

As you journey through this book, you will experience a multiplicity of real life work encounters such as, “A manager espoused her opinion that lower-paid employees should serve higher-paid employees”. In this encounter, the manager also stated, “higher-salaried staff members are not paid to clean coffee pots” (Excerpt~ B.L. Brown). Halo-Orangees book is a movement with encouraging straightforwardness; Author B.L. Brown confronts real-life workplace issues occurring in organizations world-wide (negativity, drama, power struggles, backstabbing, and endless gossip). The Introduction is entitled, “Don’t Allow Anyone to Confine You to a Box, Disabling Your Growth”.

Halo-Orangees is a nonexclusive on the job survival manual, mindset enhancer, and stress reliever for both employers and employees. This book will change your life both personally and professionally.

As the author explains, the views of others should not form the bench-mark of how a person works.

“Don’t ever allow anyone to attack your self-esteem, kill your passion, or tell you that someone else is more worthy than you,” says B.L. Brown.

Since its launch, the book has garnered a consistent string of five-star reviews.

“Halo-Orangees employer-employee “one accord” said exactly what many of us think, but has never verbalized. It has a lot of information that’s valuable and should be used as a guideline for all organizations. The concept can be adopted into most corporate cultures with a simple acknowledgement from management and a real desire for your organization to be on “one accord,” says J. Hussey, reviewing the book on Amazon.com.

Another reader, John Walsh, was equally as impressed.

“The chapters each address different aspects of workplace relations and contain advice on how to avoid problems and increase harmony and productivity. These tend to revolve around the importance of all parties showing respect for each other, to perform their role properly and behave with respect to organizational protocol, which should itself be properly developed, spelled out and implemented and policed,” he writes.

With thousands turning to the book to improve workplace relations, the author has some stern parting words.

“You are the only one who defines you, so don’t ever allow anyone to tell you who you are, or that you are not good enough,” Brown concludes.

Halo-Orangees employer-employee “one accord” Volume I One Mind, One Body, One Team, published by Outskirts Press, is available from Amazon.com.480 Large Book Cover

If You Need To Clean Up The Mess In Your Workplace is a more descriptive title would have made this book a best seller. Since the material in the book fits.

I purchased 2 boxs of these books for my company. We specialize in HUD housing. After reading this book for myself I knew that it would be manditory for my staff to read it, as well. Dealing with the public is very hard and making customer service first should be every company’s goal that’s striving to be number 1.
Author B. Brown wasted no time writing about how problems amongst employers vs. employees can overspill into the fore front of a company’s representation.

  6. QUEEN OF PROMOTIONS March 23, 2013 at 10:27 am -

why read a book about promotions when you have everything right within yourself to get promoted and hop up to the top. And yes I do have an office job with a Fortune 500 company.

  8. Rock March 17, 2013 at 6:51 pm -

Yeah not a bad book even so five stars not far from 4 starts at best and worst. In spite of that growth is possible for future publications down the line.

I highly doubt a first time self-published author can write a 5 star book.

    • Debbie March 17, 2013 at 6:22 pm -

Why can’t a first time author write a five star book. The blade runner Oscar Pistorius is first amputee to win an able-bodied world track medal. What is the purpose of your comment? Confused?

      • Not March 17, 2013 at 6:23 pm -

My comment is a fact that is the purpose. This is not a five star book. It is this purpose enough for you?

        • Debbie March 17, 2013 at 6:24 pm -

          Have you read?

          • Not March 17, 2013 at 6:25 pm -

            No, nor do I intent.

I work with one of the most miserable women in the hold world. She’s 48 & feels she is behind in life pulling off her dreams. Everyone else is supposed to ride on her donkey of miserable falling dreams. I plan on buying this book for her since I have read so many good comments because I refuse to ride on her donkey of despondent. I ride in Mercedes. She better call RHWOA Phaedra Parks and see if she can join her donkey empire. Mrs. Parks shaking money out of her donkey.

  16. Dave March 17, 2013 at 6:09 pm -

Halo-Orangees book is relatable. The content in this book is today’s workplace. Chapter five is like fireworks on the fourth of July. The manager should have resigned after the employee responded to his letter of address attempting to confront the employee. It is clear this manager was not aware of his own employee’s professional skills, otherwise he would have not sent the letter. His deliverance of choice was by means of email, senselessly sending to his bosses and moreso senselessly putting it in writing & transmitting it through company email. I bet when his managers got the employee’s response they hated they hired him. Yet, the book does talk about friends and family hiring. So maybe his boss is his brother.

  17. Otis March 17, 2013 at 6:07 pm -

I won this book on a book tour. I had no intention of ever reading it. Recently I was stuck at the ER with my wife and remembered that it was in the car. Since I was so bored I retrieved it. As I began reading the book I began regretting that I had not read it sooner. This book is real talk and anyone who is part of the workforce can relate to it. We have all gone through unpleasant circumstances in the workplace both men and women. Workplace haters are now more common in men. My organization is full of old men “workplace haters.” They feel I am too young for my position. This book is a tool for standing your ground in your current company or finding a passion to move on to better circumstances. This book will seriously prompt you to develop a plan for making a decision on your career. Chapter 4, 5,9, 11, 12 and the introduction are all must reads-real talk. Oh and chapter 1 the friends-family hiring puts the real in real!!!!!!!! The real life on the job experiences are so real and are happening every day in workplaces around the world. This book can be use internationally. There is no a company too small or too big that will not benefit from this book, nor employee or employer that will not benefit from this book. This book is in real workplace time live. In the year 2020 this book will still be in real time live abundantly more in the year 2020 than currently. It will not lose value in fact it will increase. Remember I said it people. I wonder how many copies of this book have been sold. This would get great reviews from places life Time Magazine, Huffing Post, Ellen and etc.

    • Jerry March 17, 2013 at 6:08 pm -

  21. For Real March 11, 2013 at 9:45 pm -

Yes you 100% know what to say. The cover don’t represent the content in this book at all. It displays employer-employee one accord. It is so real this shit happens in the workplace every day. We go through this BS daily. All the time.

  22. Real Talk March 11, 2013 at 9:42 pm -

I ordered this book in January 2013. It is actually a good book which is a huge surprise. I love to read so I often buy books and write customer reviews. This author hit the ground running with this book for a first time author she’s pretty good. She can only grow from here. I recommend this book to all members of the workforce employers and employees it will change your workplace attitude. The cover does not represent the book well. The reason I was wrestling with buying at first was the cover. It doesn’t provide a valuable picture of information in this book. This book is bold and should have been called The Workplace: Real Talk. The information in this book is real. REAL TALK FOR SURE.

Halo-Orangees employer-employee “one accord” Volume I is a really new and refreshing book. We go through so many things in our work lives. It is nice to read other people experiences, because there is always some in a worse situation then you. To quote another review I read on this book “This book is workplace bible”! A must read.

I must say this is a well written extraordinary book. It is a definite must read for any employer and/or employee. It is a easy read that will keep your attention. I liked how the author speaks about how we as individuals are the only one who can define who we are. She states to never allow anyone to tell you who you are or that you aren’t good enough. The author gave an experience in the book of how a employer once told her that another employee was better then her. It states we are to never allow anyone to isolate you into workforce confinement or causing you to feel as if you inadequate. Confinement is not our destiny. This book causes you to think outside the box or that little box that employers or coworkers try to place you. There are many nuggets written in this book that can assist an individual to become on one accord as an employee and employer. Again, a great read.

Going on a job five days a week 8 to 12 hours a day is a lot. Leaders are often the leading cause of the drama. I was once so depressed and hurt by the actions of my boss, three years of pure hell! In March my friend recommend I purchase Halo-Orangees employer -employee “one accord” Volume I. It is a motivational book on the job survival manual for sure. The description powers truth. Love this blog!

I purchased Halo-Orangees B. L. Brown’s book. I must say in all honesty that her book is indeed a breath of fresh air. I heard her story & felt compelled to purchase her book after hearing! I know that everyone has problems in life however reading this book convinced me of how to handle my problems in a better manner, in 1 aspect of my life that was out of control…..my unhappiness on my job. This book is also giving me real life accounts of people who have gone through the same things I’ve gone through on the job…..if not worst & how they handled it. Author B.L. Brown house burned down and the News aired the story she appeared very upset, but graceful her and her five children made it out alive. The News reported she (B.L. Brown) was so desperate to get herself and her five kids out of their burning, home she left with nothing on. Not even the clothes on her back. Neighbor had to give her clothes. Her kids didn’t have shoes on. She was just trying to make sure her and her kids got out safely.” Yet after this horrible loss she has managed to carry on as a positive person of great courage which is a reflection of her book Halo-Orangees employer-employee “one accord” Volume I. By reading Halo-Orangees book I have a new outlook on myself, my future/life so that maybe something good can come out of this for me while helping her B.L. Brown by encouraging people to purchase her book. I have entered into 2013 with an amazing sense of self and positive hope for succeeding in life. People need to take a look at them-selves& make a positive change. I give this book an A+++ 5 stars.

I have been following Halo-Orangees since 2011 and have found inspiration B.L. Brown ability to keeping going after losing everything she owned. This woman has made huge achievement in spite of such a horrible personal loss. I have followed Halo-Orangees development since 2011, whereas someone else would have giving up she has fought forward! The quote at the header of this blog “Your life purpose is totality of your negative experiences, roll them up into one, and use them positively to lay the foundation to their destiny,”(Author B.L. Brown) is a perfect example of who B.L. Brown is, what she believe in, and her vision for the Halo-Orangees organization. I love this quote “If you knock on doors and no one answers, build your own door of success, knock, open, and leap through” (Halo-Orangees-Author B.L. Brown). My favorite quote thus far of 2013, I am taking the leap.

I have read reviews on different sites no one has yet to say “comment” on the email between the manger and employee in chapter five. This chapter makes this book worth buying if you bypass every other chapter this entire chapter is the driver of why you should buy this book. What was this manager thinking? The employee should have been the manager because they ripped this manager to professional pieces. This chapter will really make employers think about the overall skills and behavior needed for their management team. This book is a nice mindset redirector for the workplace it will bring peace to the must toxic work environment. Get this book.

Halo-Orangees Employer-Employee One Accord Volume I One Mind, One Body, One Team incorporates employers’ employees balance. MARK MY WORDS THIS BRAND IS THE ONE TO WACTH in 2013 Halo-Orangees will rocket into success. This book is a demonstration of what’s to come from this company. I posted my resume yesterday on http://www.halo-orangeesjobs.com and applied for a job at Buckeye Technologies and received a revised copy of my resume a better summarized version back from one of Halo-Orangees staff members with a letter of pointers and tips. They even wrote me a cover letter. I was laid off a year ago and I’ve been working two dead-end jobs. This has help busted my confidence and recharged my faith.

This book will change your life! If you are having problems in the workplace this is the book for you&the person you are having the problem with.

I had an opportunity to listen to the Author of Halo-Orangees employer-employee Volume I One Mind, One Body, One Team on the 990 AM KWAM 990 Talk Radio – The New Voice of Memphis. Just listening to her talk about her workplace experience that prompted her to write Halo-Orangees employer-employee Volume I is inspiring. I highly recommend that all book lovers and non- book lovers purchase this book. This book covers the dysfunctional employer-employee relationships and all of the issues happening in today’s workplace. After reading this book I purchased an additional four more books for my coworkers. My work environment is in dire need of the book. Thank you Author B.L. Brown for writing this book!!!!!!! I can not wait to read your next book!

All workforce leaders should buy this book. Companies should make a budget and buy their staff a copy. I have worked and several different places and the drama is the same everywhere you work, backstabbing gossiping sad people. The sad part is in the world we work today the leaders are the leading cause of the drama. So you see this makes it harder. This book confronts this very issue and more. I love this book and recommend to the workforce. Corporate leaders especially.

  34. Joel Murillo January 11, 2013 at 11:28 am -

Where do I start there is so much to be said about this book. I will attempt to keep it short and sweet. Halo-Halo-Halo thank you Halo the name is an indication of the bright light this book will shine on anyone having problems on their job. I am a supervisor, supervising a team of women. My department was always full of ongoing messy situations (controlling the environment). I was continuously putting out messy fires. I read this book and let me tell you it has changed my work environment. I started to pull some of the content from this book and apply it with my team. It is working. The content in this chapter Eliminating the “I” and “ME” and Incorporating TEAM (“I and ME” = A Dysfunctional Team) is leading us to positive change. Thumbs up for this book.

  37. Kelly Woods January 10, 2013 at 11:36 pm -

This book is a help tool for employers and employees. It does not favor one over the over. It simply breaks down the real to real daily problems in the job world. Each chapter has a positive ending well-written and easy to follow.

  38. Tammy lee January 10, 2013 at 11:33 pm -

Once this book hooks the eyes of the right talk show it will blow up. It is an unusually kind of book unusually in a good way. It confronts, provides, and empowers positive solutions for workplace conflicts.
